Jerrah Patston is a musician from the Blue Mountains and his latest release is ‘Sing Exactly Like That’.

The live album was recorded in front of a tiny crowd at the Moshpit in Newtown during a livestream, and it captures Jerrah the day before he went to the studio to finish his ‘Sounds Like Rain’ LP.

‘Sing Exactly Like That’ has a mix of material from Jerrah’s catalogue and includes two previously unreleased songs: ‘Master Chef’ and ‘You’ve Got That Swing’.

Other highlights include ‘The Brigadoon Is Bundanoon Song’ from ‘Sounds Like Rain’, ‘Brian Lara’ from ‘The Jerrah EP’ and ‘Burn Like A Star’ from ‘Remix The House’.

Writing in Cyclic Defrost’s Best Of 2020, Luke Martin said “I have honestly never encountered a musician so thrilled to be performing and recording as Jerrah,” and that energy is palpable on ‘Sing Exactly Like That’.

Jerrah started writing songs in 2016 when he began working at Club Weld, a studio for neurodiverse musicians. Since then he has recorded at Sydney Opera House, performed a sold-out show at the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub and been profiled on 7:30.

Jerrah is currently working on songs for a second studio album.
